What customers say?

“ The pistachio Mont Blanc was delicious. (There aren't many, so come early.) The space was clean and relaxing. There aren't many seats, (5 x 4-person tables). Depending on the time of day, you might not be able to relax. Takeout is OK. The cake set, with a free morning set of boiled egg and half toast, was a bargain at 850 yen! The hot coffee was also delicious. ”

“ We stopped by here at the end of our food tour of Gero Onsen. I think 800 yen for a pistachio Mont Blanc and iced coffee is a reasonable price. My friend had zenzai, which she said was delicious with a homely sweetness. The restrooms were also clean. ”

“ The atmosphere was incredibly quiet and warm. I found myself whispering. The tea was also really good. I want to try brunch next time. ”

“ I went for breakfast. It was 500 yen. It was toast, eggs, and coffee. It had a Showa-era vibe, was small, and the coffee was delicious. ”

“ This is a rare cafe in Gero Onsen town that serves breakfast. I finally found one after searching for a place to eat breakfast. In hot spring areas, many people eat breakfast at inns, so there is probably little demand for cafes' breakfast services. The morning set comes with a drink, half a slice of toast, and a boiled egg. In other words, you only pay for the price of the drink. For me, coffee and bread are essential for breakfast, so this was simple and frugal, but sufficient. I was impressed by the cafe's efforts, even though prices have risen due to rising prices of bread and eggs. If I visit Gero Onsen again, I would like to visit for breakfast. By the way, I visited on a Sunday, but they were open. (November 2023) ”

“ Food is super delicious. Cheesecake, Homemade Yuzu and Carbonara!!! Highly recommended. ”

“ The inside of the shop is a local coffee shop. I went there because I wanted to eat the Bistaci au Mont Blanc. It had a different sweetness to the chestnut Mont Blanc and was delicious. ”

- TETSUO TOMIDA -

“ This cafe was open even though it was early in the morning. I came across it by chance while having breakfast at the inn and strolling around town. I was just thinking about getting a coffee, so I stopped in without hesitation. The interior was neat and tidy, and there were few other customers, making it the perfect atmosphere for a relaxing coffee. I sat by the window and watched the people passing by, enjoying the aroma of coffee. As I savored the afterglow, I felt a sense of nostalgia. ”
